Philanthropy Events

Beta Epsilon hosts two philanthropy events annually, Anchor Splash and Cycle for Sight.

Anchor Splash is Beta Epsilon's fall philanthropy event. Held each September, members of the AU community form teams to compete in water games on the quad to raise money for Service for Sight. Typically, with the help of the AU community, Anchor Splash raises over $10,000. 

Cycle for Sight is Beta Epsilon's spring philanthropy event. Held in March, members of the AU community form teams to compete in a cycle-a-thon to raise money for Service for Sight. Members of each team participate in 30-minute spin classes with the goal of biking the most miles. Once the sessions are complete and the numbers are tallied, the team that records the most miles receives a prize. Last spring, we doubled our fundraising goal raising $4,000, which is the most we have ever raised from the event!
