Delta Gamma Lectureships in Values and Ethics

Beta Epsilon, the Delta Gamma Foundation and American University have partnered to bring a lectureship series to the American University and Washington, D.C. community. For 29 years, Delta Gamma has been a preeminent voice on values and ethics through Delta Gamma Lectureships in Values and Ethics. We are excited to report that American University (with Beta Epsilon’s leadership) will be the twenty-first university supporting the Lectureship Series and will be the very first Lectureship in the D.C. area! This program will bring enormous visibility to Delta Gamma at AU and have a significant impact on the campus community more broadly. This is incredibly meaningful because AU will be the only school in the DC area to host such a Lectureship. AU has recently launched the Change Can’t Wait campaign, and AU’s priority areas – to elevate, inspire and lead – are in alignment with the goals of the Lectureship in Values and Ethics. Having the Lectureship start at this important time in AU’s history would be momentous for Beta Epsilon, DG and AU.

Delta Gamma is the ONLY fraternal organization to sponsor such a high-profile program. We are thrilled that Delta Gamma and AU are partnering for this lectureship, and we are hoping to launch the lectureship this fall. To that end, we are asking that you consider making a gift of support to help us meet the challenge. We have already raised more than $115,000 towards our goal of at least $200,000 to both fund the Lectureship in its inaugural year and an endowment for future Lectureships. Your donation will help DG and AU provide educational speakers, not only for current AU students, but also for future generations.
